I had DUPLICATED the normal patch inside the EXTRA folder by mistake, instead putting there the additional patch. With this update that is fixed. Now the normal patch and the optional patch inside EXTRA folder are different; the second does really replace the enemy names by the Spanish names used in modern translations of Dragon Quest series. It has been an human mistake.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms X

PC

Game Description:

It’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms 10, but with extra stuff that was originally included in the PS2 port of the original. Just how many games can you have that are based on the same damn story?!

Translation Description:

This translated .EXE file has all the translated bits from previous Romance of the Three Kingdoms 10 patches, plus five hundred new modified strings. That’s a lot of work, true, but this is an evil game, and it has way too much text.

There are parts that are not translated and instead they have number and letter codes. If you can help the team translate what the game is supposed to be saying there, please contact them directly.

If you are not using the Romance of the Three Kingdoms PUK (Player Upgrade Kit) use the regular version of the patch (the first entry), otherwise use the PUK version of the patch. Expand the downloaded file to reveal a .exe file. This .exe file should be placed in the same directory as your original San10.exe game file and used instead of this file to launch your game. Everything should work properly from there.

First, make sure you are patching the Japanese version of the game. These patches will not work properly with the Chinese version. If you are still having problems check to see if you are using the latest update provided by Koei. If you are, you may have to be using a previous version. If not, try updating—odds are it will allow the patch to work properly. If you still have problems it bears a second mention—did you place the downloaded (and decompressed) .exe file in the same directory as your original game .exe file? If not, that is where it needs to be.
