Madou Monogatari I: Mitsu no Madouryoku is a role playing game for the Sega Game Gear.
Translation Description:
This is a small, unofficial update to filler and kingofcrusher’s 2010 English translation patch for the Game Gear version of Madou Monogatari Ⅰ, which is known to have impossibly fast VRAM accesses that make the text completely garbled and unreadable when played on a real Game Gear.
This patch fixes the bulk of the issues, making the text readable and the game (hopefully) playable all the way through. Reportedly, there are still minor problems with text getting offset from its intended position, but it’s certainly an improvement from before.
This patch should be applied on top of the existing translation patch. See the readme for detailed instructions.
Note that this does not fix the non-hardware-related issues with the translation, such as text that overflows the dialogue window or lines that were translated without context and never edited.
