Hisou Kihei X-SERD is a strategy turn based game for the Turbografx-16.
Translation Description:
This is the translation of “Hisou Kihei X Serd” by NCS, released on the PC-Engine in 1990. This was a companion project to the Vixen 357 translation, which aimed at completing the “SERD” mini-series. What is more, this game is pretty good in its own right, and even has some advantages over Vixen 357.
When we began working on it, the No-Intro version of this ROM wasn’t working on most emulators, so we used the GoodPCE ROM instead. So, be aware that it’s a GoodPCE ROM translation. Nonetheless, we are including patches for both the GoodPCE and the No-Intro ROM, as they both should work fine now. Feel free to use the one you want.
Also, this patch seemingly doesn’t work on MagicEngine, and this is likely not something that we can fix. It was successfully tested on most other emulators, and also the PCE hardware itself though, so there’s a silver lining to this story, as you can see.
