Excellent color conversion!

After the greatly anticipated and fantastic Mega Man V GBC hack, this game receiving the same treatment was a very welcome surprise.

Pros:

  • Pleasing and detailed colors for characters and stages
  • Impressive palette changing effects
  • Enker looks superb even though he wasn’t designed with NES color limitations
  • Slowdown is basically gone

Cons:

  • Some things might look better using Mega Man’s face palette like electricity or enemy hurt flashing but I don’t know the technical constraints like the author does
  • Wily is pantsless and I don’t like it
