A improvement patch to the Genesis version of “Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi.” The original game has one-hit kills, but now your character can take three hitpoints of damage. Hitpoints are displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the extra hitpoints are vital to making the game accessible, while still retaining enough challenge for new players. I might starting revisiting this game every so often, all because this hack made Shadow Dancer a really fun game.
