Description:
Shadowrun 2058 is a hack for the Sega Genesis Shadowrun video game, whose purpose is to get closer to the fictional universe of the classic PnP role-playing game of the same name; At the same time, this mod aims to improve the gaming experience with a long series of changes made all based on the Core rule books of the original PnP games.
Some new features introduced in this version are:
- Rebalance prices for magic items and cyberdecks (now based on Shadowrun 1st edition rules).
- Remplacing the starting cyberdeck for a “Custom Deck”.
- New arsenal revision… again.
- Modify starting equipment and cyberwear for samurai and decker joshua.
- New identity and location for street gangs.
- Better ratings for negotiation skill.

Cool but prices are messed up
Reviewed By: Charliethegent on 05 Dec 2022It’s really enjoyable for the most part except none of the crime mall discounts work. And the fairlight excalibur cyber deck is now half a million nuyen when it used to be 185k. Not sure if it’s a bug since lots of tweaks have been made. Still worth playing. It’s too bad this can’t be modded to add online multiplayer. Really have to appreciate that this guy even took the time to make this game more fun and playable.
