Enough is Enough!!!
Reviewed By: Plint Michigan on 21 Oct 2011When it comes to Megaman hacks, I usually don’t care as long as there’s new music and increased difficulty. And speaking of music, we have a few recognizable ones, but most of it’s obscure. In the later stages we have the Parodius version of Fantasie Impromptu, Metal Man’s stage uses music from Digital Devil Children for the gameboy, Heatman’s theme is DJ K.K. from Animal Crossing, and except for the obvious Kirby stage, the rest I have no idea.
And when I say later stage, that’s an assumption. I hacked into this game in order to grab it’s NSF files so I don’t know what level it’s on. And why don’t I know what level it’s on? Simple, this hack’s too (expletive) HARD!!! I have never been able to beat the stages without hacking, and that’s because they throw so many cheap shots at you. Heatman’s stage causes you to move towards him by… water flowage? WATER FLOWAGE!?! THIS IS HEAT MAN’S STAGE!!! THERE SHOULDN’T BE WATER HERE!!! …Where was I? Oh yeah, and the fight between Heatman doesn’t start until you two touch each other, so no matter what, you’re going to get hit by him. And then we have Quickman’s stage. Those little blips on those screens kill you, and eventually you’ll come across a section where you have to jump so lightly you will avoid contact with them on your way to the next platform. And unless you use the turbo button or hack, it’s impossible to preform. And don’t even get me started with Flashman’s stage. In order to get past lasers of death easier, you need to beat Flashman. Unfortunately, the lasers of death you’re supposed to freeze with the flash beam just happen to reside in Flashman’s stage. Seriously, they expect us to get through all that!!!
All I can say is that if you like your games tough as nails, then this game will even make YOU crying for your mother. But if you have an NSF ripper, the soundtrack is at least worth checking out.
