I spent a couple of hours playing this tonight and I think it’s too difficult. Mega Man 2 is my favorite NES game and I would estimate I’ve beaten the original at least a hundred times, so I’m super familiar with the entire game top to bottom. I appreciate the additional challenge in some areas for sure, but there are some pixel perfect jumps that are sorry of obnoxious and sometimes it feels like you’re getting spammed by enemies rather than there just being good enemy placement. If someone is experienced as me is struggling to beat more than one stage after multiple tries then I think it’s too difficult. But it’s professionally done, so I definitely give the author credit.
