Description:
Pokémon Emerald Plus and Double Plus are two patches designed to allow you to enjoy the base game with modern QOL improvements.
PE Plus brings in changes like faster battles and all improvement from the Battle Engine Upgrade, the B/W Repel system, colored natures in the status screen, the ability to evolve trade evolution Pokémon without trading, the ability to forget HM moves like any other move, etc.
PE Double Plus brings in even more radical changes like Fairy Type, Gen VII battle mechanics, the ability to switch between the Acro and Mach bike with the R button, infinite TM usage, toggleable exp. share, etc.
No changes were made to the story or Pokémon, so the game should feel familiar, but more accessible and modern than ever. Please read the readme for a full list of changes.

Never Play The Original Emerald Ever Again (Especially If You Want To Play Double Plus)
Reviewed By: gamingcat02261991 on 23 Jan 2022You know the ROM Hack review titles that tell you to stop playing the original game due to the ROM Hack in question being far superior? Well, this is one example.
While I haven’t played Pokemon Emerald Plus, I did play Pokemon Emerald Double Plus. It takes Emerald and adds not only bugfixes, but also awesome QoL details like the Fairy type, the game asking you to use another Repel/Super Repel/Max Repel if you have any left when the effects wear off, secondary Evolution methods for Pokemon like Scizor and Machamp, HM move removal (perfect if you want to transfer to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver, since Rayquaza is tricky to transfer otherwise without visiting a Move Deleter), infinite TM uses, and lots more.
