Description:
A tweak that will work for both Pokémon Red and Blue.
A tweak that makes the following changes to the game corner to make it less evil:
- You can buy 500 coins for 8000 pokebucks instead of 50 for 1000
- Slot machines don’t sadistically roll the reel to prevent you from lining something up on the third reel anymore. Slot machine biases are ignored. Now it’s more of a timing game than a game of chance.
- Slot machine reward payout speed was doubled
- Slot machine payouts were slightly increased
- Cherry: 9 coins
- Anything other than cherry, bar, or 7: 50 coins
- Bar: 200 coins
- 7: 500 coins
This is a fairly standalone tweak and should work with any hack that hasn’t touched or moved the game corner code from its location in the ROM.

Any Plans for a Similar Patch for Yellow?

Trust me, getting the right amount of Coins to get a Porygon is hard, but this makes it easier, along with the other prize Pokémon and TMs. But, I was wondering if there would be a similar one for Pokémon Yellow sometime in the future…
