Description:
This hack features some new music tracks with SUNSOFT DPCM samples. No GFX or Levels are changed, only some text (Toad Ending). VRC6 IRQ is enabled, but it’s a bit buggy, since PPU changes scroll base at the wrong times occasionally. Thank you for playing.
Epylepsy Warning! This hack contains flashing effects that might potentially be a problem for some players! As with all games, player caution is advised.

A wonderful hack held back by odd decisions
Reviewed By: Doodle_Dangernoodle on 13 Sep 2021When I initially first saw this and tried it out, the first impressions were great! Sunsoft has a distinct and recognizable sound and the author pulled this off with flying colors!
However, the other choices this author made in regards to the hack left me scratching and rubbing my head. The inclusion of the (admittedly catchy and great cover of) Nyan Cat theme replacing the Starman theme was not really warranted in the grand scheme of the hack. Having a separate patch to have the original Starman theme with the added percussion and sampling would be really nice to stay true to the vanilla soundtrack.
Although the author has put out a disclaimer which is great, it is confusing and baffling they added this epileptic mess in the first place when it really doesn’t add anything positive to their hack. Many people here clearly are against this addition and I am one of those included. So I would advise the author to either remove this effect entirely, or for those that can handle it and may indeed like the effect, have a separate patch just for them.
There truly is a great hack here, as the new musical covers are wonderful, but the personal liberties taken by the author are just plain bizarre and unwarranted in what is advertised on the tin.
