Now it feels almost as close to the Arcade version
Reviewed By: danylopez123 on 12 Aug 2021This is a must-patch patch that i highly recommend. With the recent change of changing the palette to mimic the Arcade one, it feels alot better so now i don’t have to keep looking at the ugly vanilla ones from the GBA port.
One thing that would be left to implement for this patch it’s the completly unused All Rounds Clear. (As i saw from a .GSF pack i downloaded)
It could be implemented for, of course, complete the last level and also, to be able to play it from the Sound Test from the Options.
The Opening one it can be skipped because it’s used in the Japanese version in which of course, it haves Japanese text but with that, it can give the chance of the Opening music to play through the entire City map and Haggar scene before it switches the music back to the Mad Gear Gang one.
EDIT: I have noticed a mini-problem with Poison and Roxy sprites when they are doing the foward flip animations when they spawn. One of their sprites are messed up and repeats the legs part to the body, that can only be seen for a fraction of seconds unless you pause an emulator and see that, does that also happens for the Japanese version?
