…Iru! is an adventure game for the PlayStation.
You and a few classmates stay late at the school to prepare for the culture festival tomorrow. Unknown to you, something far more sinister is underway. Can you survive the horrors of your school and escape from this Lovecraftian nightmare alive?
…they’re here! is more of a narrative adventure game than a survival horror game. The game mostly progresses from talking to people and using items. There are times when enemies will attack you, but you can only run and hide.
This patch has been tested with a CD-R on a modded PS1 and completed without issues.

Very good translation!Reviewed By: W!nter on 02 Aug 2021
Hi, this is my first review on here, so sorry if it’s not that good.
So I haven’t finished my first playthrough just yet, but so far I can say this translation is pretty good. There’s maybe a few strange choices in wording here or there, but overall this is a pretty solid translation.
Something I thought was a nice touch was that most of the signs were changed/translated to English, (or Spanish, depending on which language you play it in,) which helps a lot with navigation, as I currently cannot read Japanese and would probably be hopelessly lost most of the time if they were kept in Japanese, lol.
Speaking of navigation, the game does get a little confusing on where to go and what to do at points, but that’s just a flaw with the game itself, and doesn’t really have anything to do with the translation. There are a few guides/walkthroughs for it so it’s definitely a forgivable flaw, and it’s an interesting experience nonetheless.
…Iru! does a good job as a horror game, keeping you on edge with the soundtrack and general sound design, as well as those signature janky PS1 visuals. Although as a SURVIVAL horror game, it is rather easy, and maybe not as tense as some others, due to the slow-moving enemies that give you more than enough time to find a place to hide.
Despite it’s flaws though, I think it’s still definitely worth a play if you enjoy horror games, and the horror genre in general. I am very glad that this game got translated into English (and Spanish as well) so more people (including myself) can get the most out of it by both playing it and being able to understand the story.
