The third game in the Fire Emblem series, it is divided into two sections known as “books”:
Book 1, which is a cut down port of the first Fire Emblem game. Although the plot of the game is basically the same, several chapters and characters were removed due to space limitations.
Book 2 is the sequel to Book 1 and by extension the first Fire Emblem. It follows Marth as he deals with some of the ramifications of Book 1, and battles new threats as they come up across the land.
The game is known for including features such as dismount, where units on horses had to get off of them for indoor chapters, and being the first Fire Emblem game to show movement ranges when a unit is selected.
This is an update to Quirino’s Updated Mystery of the Emblem Fan Translation patch. This release was mostly focused on fixing some errors in the original patch, and as such there are no major script alterations/name changes. A detailed list of changes can be found in the readme.

Looks like a good translation. I just wish there were a US variant.Reviewed By: MegaMarkLM on 11 May 2021
I’m just starting the game with this translation. It looks really good, like it could have been an official release from back in the day. The only gripe I have with it (aside from the few japanese ideograms left in the unit overview or whatever) is that it uses the european names, without giving an alternative to use the US names. I wish that was an option for the people that have grown accustomed to them, like me (and I’m not even from the States, I’m Mexican, but those are the ones I’m familiar with).
However, aside from that, what I’ve seen from the translation is very promising. I’ve put off playing this game for the longest time since I’ve always been very picky with my fan-translations, and I hadn’t realised that there was a “new” translation since the “RPGuy” one. I’m excited to finally play it after all this time.
