Game Description:
Chaos Seed: Fuusui Kairouki is an action role playing game for the Super Nintendo.
Translation Description:
In the game you play the part of a Dousen or “Cave Hermit” who is tasked with the job of healing areas of the land that have become unbalanced and lost their energy. This is where the resource management aspect of the game comes in to play as you must build and maintain an Enchanted Cave in order to channel energy back into the earth. A large group of NPCs and monsters will both aid and hinder you in your progress to restore the land to its former self. This is not the only aspect of the game, however, as there are portions of each Scenario in which you must venture in to town to progress events in the storyline. The choices you make during these events can drastically alter the way each Scenario plays out, allowing for multiple endings and adding much incentive to replay each part of the story.
Updates: V1.02 corrects all errors/bugs submitted by the public since its release.

Fantastic game and an absolutely beautiful dialogue font.
Reviewed By: ShawnMcCool on 20 Feb 2021Chaos Seed is a baffling bit of game design. After an hour long tutorial you’re dropped into one of the strangest experiences that the Super Nintendo had to offer. It makes you want to take “one more turn” like that from Civilization and for a similar reason. You’re building your own dungeon and defending it in a simulation.
This translation is as good as any that I’ve seen. The dialogue is natural and funny. Because this game’s writing has such a unique feel, I can only imagine that it’s faithful to the tone of the original script. The dialogue font is sublime. Every time I look at it I feel warm comfortable. The stats font is more rigid, I assume to accommodate the data.
I have seen 2 small indicators that this was hacked. The first is during the initial character name input. There are 4 pages of letters / symbols that can be entered for a name. The first 3 are 100% perfect, the fourth is a copy of the first page. No problem, who cares. The second is that the “done” “back” buttons etc on the text entry input screen are a bit to the side inside their oval buttons. They look really nice so for all I know this is intended. But it’s not the way it’s typically done so I thought I’d mention it.
Otherwise this appears to be an original English version. Fantastic work all around.
