A very welcome translation

Sub-Terrania for the Sega Genesis is a classic example of a video game that, despite being notable in many aspects, was not a big-seller. The reason, almost certainly, is that it was overshadowed by the huge number of excellent titles that were released in 1993 for this console.

In essence it’s an arcade shooter, but our ship moves 360º through subway scenarios where our first enemy is gravity, so mastering the controls is essential. I would define it as a “survival shooter” where frantic action is mixed with moments where we must study every move, because resources are scarce.

That’s where the mission report becomes important: There we can see the map and the objectives of each stage before start… and that’s also where this translation becomes important, since someone who doesn’t understand English well (like me as a kid) can easily get stuck and frustrated.

Although it’s a bit late for me (Now I understand English pretty well), this patch is very welcome, allowing many users to enjoy this excellent game without the language barrier.
