It’s a tradition of the 80’s see how beloved comic/movie licenses were marred by companies like LJN.

Especially sad was the case of this game, cause technically it’s… ok, and the general concept is pretty cool. And where was the catch? In that after finishing the training stage the difficulty curve shoots up, and it will take us very short time to hate it, and I emphasize the word HATE, no matter how much you like the characters.

This patch is not perfect because the original game is not, but now the difficulty is much more friendly, and allows at least that we do not get frustrated so quickly and we can learn the patterns or the best way to overcome certain obstacles without eliminating the challenge.

I highly recommend this hack. I only hope that it’s author will do the same with the SNES version, because it’s slightly better in every aspect.
