Hack of Super Mario All-Stars

Description:

This patch modifies the ending of Super Mario Bros. 2 to remove whatever appeared to be as if Wart’s eyes were cut and bleeding from underneath (being more targeted to have been more suitable towards younger audiences).

This patch was made as a response to Mario fans (anywhere on the internet) who’ve complained that the redness underneath Wart’s eyes was blood (to avoid any debatable controversy).

The entire game itself remains unaffected.

Completly worthless change

Reviewed By: theNightStar on 09 Nov 2020

This really didn’t need to be done. Not only does this not substantially improve anything or even manage to be helpful in any way, the person making the hack doesn’t even seem to properly understand the context in the first place.

Plus, that’s not even blood, it’s a stylistic blush-mark on Wart’s face to show he’s been knocked out. Not only is this hack not at all useful, but it even fails to understand it’s own point for existing.

Can’t justifiably see anyone ever wanting to apply this to their own game in the first place, but it doesn’t come recommended, anyway.
