The best general purpose inserter

Reviewed By: KaioShin on 13 May 2008

If you’ve got an English script to insert into a game, Atlas is most likely what you’re looking for. It’s relatively easy to use once you get the idea behind the needed commands. It’s fast and it works with a wide variety of possible script and pointer formats. Instead of writing a custom inserter, Atlas can save you tons of time.

Pros:

  • Automatically updates pointers
  • Quick to set up
  • Will work on most common script formats
  • Open-Source, relatively easy to adapt to more difficult script formats that wouldn’t work per default

Cons:

  • Error messages can be cryptic, making it a pain to find out what’s wrong in case of an error
  • Documentation is a bit sparse
