Description:
This patch adds D-pad controls for essential actions such as walking, interacting with objects, and attacking. The new control bindings are Control Bindings:
- D-Pad Move
- Y+Dpad Move slower
- B Wide slash
- B+Dpad Long slash
- Y+B Spin Attack
- A Interact
- A+Dpad Roll
- A Advance Dialogs
The hack should work in a story-safe way so it should be possible to play through the game without being able to access attacks you shouldn’t be able to use.

Reviewed By: Thirteen 1355 on 16 Oct 2020I recommend this patch because it does what it says. It adds D-pad controls for Phantom Hourglass. However, that isn’t to say you can play the entire game without using the touch screen now, and that isn’t just concerning the ‘drawing mechanics’ either. To throw bombs, you still need the touch screen. To do a ‘targeted attack’, you still need the touch screen. To use your Boomerang, you still need to touch screen. To push blocks, you still need the touch screen. To advance the dialogue, sometimes you need the touch screen.
This means that on PC, a lot of the time you still have to get your hand on that mouse to continue playing. This can be pretty annoying.
