Very helpful but could really use some changes
Reviewed By: Meta_X on 13 Jun 2020This has been a great help in doing simple sprite editing on GBA and DS. However where it suffers horribly is in managing palettes, which is a huge deal considering the nature of the application. The default 16-color palette that opens with each file (at least for .gba) has the same color twice which has caused me to break multiple images when I forgot to switch it, and the other 15 default palettes have terrible colors too with many being far too similar. idk if these are the defaults on the GBA console or something but in any case it needs to be easier to use other palettes. You can only import palettes from the current file (fine when editing entire ROMs but not for single images) or from external savestates (??) so you have to either select each color manually every time or copypaste the bookmarked palettes between TM’s XML files. If I could customize my default palettes or import .act/.pal files then that would be immensely helpful. It would also be nice if it better remembered your preferences for window size and zoom level for new images
