I am reviewing 3 hacks that update the Zelda 1 Graphics: Cute Zelda Modern Classic Edition DX Relocalized Version (this one)

This hack takes a very distant #3. Think back to your Highschool computers class, where you had to watch your classmates’ Powerpoint Presentations… Every pieces of text was animated. Things were flying in from off-screen. Everything had a sound effect… that’s what this hack feels like. There was a point where the hacker just needed to stop, and they didn’t. As a result, the player is bombarded with every texture imaginable at every possible turn. It looks awful, and I can’t imagine ever choosing this look over the simple, if dated, graphics of the original.
