Description:
This patch/mod replaces all Sprites, Palettes, Textures, Flats etc as closely as possible to the original classic DOS PC counterparts! Meaning everything is also uncensored in the process! This also gives textures way more detail far away due to the combination between a nearest neighbour filter and bilinear, as the original rom only used bilinear and made half the far away textures a solid colour.

Don't play Doom on GBA without it
Reviewed By: r0ni on 12 Sep 2017I love Doom. I play it on any console and PC I come across. Much like NES emulation.
This patch takes a otherwise horrible port and makes it actually worthwhile (If you can get over the control limitations of the gba).
Yes, there are better and other systems to play one of the many ports of doom on, but are there any so portable? Doubt your Raspberry Pi Zero W with a screen gets smaller than a GBA Micro.
This is very faithful restoration of the original graphics in the game (though I seem to see green blood still?), the sprites and levels look very close to what I remember on DOS.
This works, until prboom is ported to GBA, of course ;)
