Description:
This patch/mod replaces all Sprites, Palettes, Textures, Flats etc as closely as possible to the original classic DOS PC counterparts! Meaning everything is also uncensored in the process! This also gives textures way more detail far away due to the combination between a nearest neighbour filter and bilinear, as the original rom only used bilinear and made half the far away textures a solid colour.

On the fence
Reviewed By: Truner on 12 Sep 2017I absolutely love restoration patches. Whether it restores music quality, graphics, or uncensors things, restoration patches are amazing and useful.
Except in this one case. Doom is readily available on everything and the only use this has is for the odd-number people who’d actually play it on a GBA. Anything else that emulates the GBA probably has a port of Doom that is better than the GBA version.
And yet, if you catch yourself wanting to play Doom on GBA? This hack is a must have as it makes the game look far better than it has any right to.
