Lifebar hack is nice
Reviewed By: skroops on 31 May 2017note: this patch is incompatible with versions of bisqwit’s retranslation above 2.9.8.17, but 2.9.8.17 is plenty good enough.
Lifebar hack is nice and really improves the game but I don’t think the CV1 palette swap fits. Moreover It seems to contradict the lore implied (retroactively) by bisqwit’s retranslation intro movie, where Simon starts to look different after he gets sick. I’m not sure why the author didn’t make this two separate patches. It’s easy enough to fix by hex editing the new palette [07 27 37 0F] back to the original [0F 16 20 0F]. In my rom it was at 0×0001CABF.
