One thing that disappointed me about the NES/FDS version of Bomberman, is the lack of a 2-player mode. I’m glad this hack fixes that issue.

I have only one complaint about it : If one Bomberman gets killed, both players must restart the level, even if the other Bomberman is still alive.

Other than that, it’s functional and really well-made. I haven’t encountered a single glitch, the scrolling moves nicely, Black Bomber’s sprite is perfectly visible on the screen,…

…and the option mode is a welcoming addition. Pretty nice if you want to give less experienced players some permanent power-ups to make their journey through the game more manageable.

This hack deserves more recognition. I’d say it’s even better than the original game.
