Finally something that the original game was lacking the most, the ability to actually use the otherwise obsolete L and R buttons and change the main item without constantly pressing Start and going into the Menu.

This is a must have addition/ASM for any longer hack for this game, since you can switch faster and thus can use a variety of items in a shorter time frame.

This feature is almost a necessity if faced with the riddles, which include lighting torches while timed, specially if the room has pits. You thus need to switch between lamp/fire rod and the hookshot a lot. Now you can do that without the annoying pressing of the Menu button.
