Interesting mod, the game gets a lot harder without the weapon upgrades and the subweapons. The bosses, most of them easily killed with the cross subweapon in the normal game, now stand a challenge and require tactics to be defeated.

…But there is a major bug at level 7-1. The second room, that should have those enemy flying books and skeletons, is empty, and there’s no way to go ahead since that the staircase at the bottom now leads the player to death instead of to the next room. =P

If you’re going to fix that, please take a look at another two things:

- There’s an unremoved candle at stage 2-3. - The white dragon skeletons at stage 3-3 are giving whip upgrades when killed, what is unintended I suppose.

Well, that’s it. I could test the hack only until stage 7-1, so it may still have other issues.
