Reviewed By: CatnipPhilosophy on 20 Aug 2016Great hack. It’s great that this is possible because the L and R buttons don’t even do anything outside the map. I just wish it was for the 1.0 jp rom, because that recently got a chest randomization hack which I really want to play with this new L and R buttons hack.
[rant] The way I imagined it was by using the L and R buttons as 2 alternatives to the Y button, a bit like in OOT. Maybe even remove the map function of the X button and set it to the select or start menu so we have 4 item buttons. This would be an expansive hack but it would completely overhaul the combat options of the original game.
