Mega Man Anniversary Collection Button Swap

Hack of Mega Man Anniversary Collection

Description:

When Mega Man Anniversary Collection was released for the Nintendo GameCube, the company behind the compilation thought it was a good idea to switch the jump and fire buttons. In the original games, jump was normally ‘A’ and fire was normally ‘B’, in this collection jump was ‘B’ and fire was ‘A’. This patch changes it back to match the games original versions.

A Gift from God

Bad enough that the buttons were reversed, but Capcom supplied no way to switch them back. It’s almost unforgivable.

Fortunately, this hack exists. Thank you, kind person, whoever you are.
