Description:
By Nintendo standards the NES port of NARC is actually still pretty hardcore and complete. However there were some censorship such as removing drug use and toned down violence. This patch puts most of the cut material back in.
- Title screen includes bloodsplatter, badges and different text on car to resemble the arcade original more closely
- All reference to K.W.A.K. restored to K.R.A.K.
- Briefing screen drugs restored (joint smoking etc) and text more closely resembles the original
- Sex references and nude poster restored on the Sunset Strip level
- Cannabis sign and plants redesigned to more closely resemble arcade original
- Mr Big’s cigar smoking on portrait restored
- Hud redesigned and various minor cleanups on player and enemy sprites
- Blood added

With N.A.R.C. being released around the time of violent movies like Robocop,Predator, and Die Hard, it was odd how they cut the original stuff from the NES game that was in the Arcade version. Doing this ROM hack does great justice to bring all that great stuff which was taken away from the NES version of N.A.R.C! Enjoy nabbing those pot plants and blowing away kinky pinkie with the rocket launcher the way it should be!
