Not a bad idea, but the execution is a little off.

The idea behind this hack is a little simpler than others, but slightly needed seeing as how few take up the trouble of doing it: make all Pokemon catachable by legit and sane means, without hacking or trading. No changes to trainers, no nothing else. It may sound bland and unexciting (especially for GSC because of Kanto), but it provides the best maner of playing the original game through an emulator.

That said, there are better ways to present the trade evolutions… such as level up or by stone. The manner of which these are currently presented result in never getting these evolved forms quite when you would want or need them, and also means the Kadabra you raised with special moves needs to be ditched in order to get it’s fully evolved form.

This does it’s job and still does it solidly however, with no glitches or hangups so that you can still catch ‘em all on the game where actually catching them all is one of the main objectives.
