Description:
Gameboy Tetris Colorization Hack
Includes:
- 1) Color! (Of Course),
- 2) Some Easter Eggs (try to find all of them!),
- 3) A Secret Mode :eyes:
- 4) a “Danger Indicator” on the walls of the board, try not to get to the orange part!
Creeper wanted to make this hack since quite some time ago, Creeper started on july 2023 and as of November 19th, 2023, it’s finally finished!!
For the TGM Lovers, Creeper included a version of the hack that has the ARS colors instead of the SRS colors.

ALMOST all I ever wanted from GB Tetris
Reviewed By: lordelan on 20 Nov 2023My heart skipped a bit when I saw this because ever since I was hoping for a colorization hack of “Tetris - Rosy Retrospection” what I consider to be the best handheld Tetris version ever (even better than the amazing Apotris thanks to nostalgia and the music).
Then I realised this is “only” for the vanilla Tetris version, to which I personally can’t go back to after having played Rosy.
That being said, we’ve never been closer to “Rosy Retrospection DX” and if anyone could pull it off, then it would be this dev here.
However this is a review for a vanilla “Tetris DX” so I’ll review just that and I gotta say: The colors are almost EXACTLY like I always would have wished a colorized GB Tetris version would look like. They are popping and appealing and make this so much more beautiful.
Maybe in a future version (or even better, when the dev takes on Rosy) multiple different “skins” or color palettes can be included. GB Tetris is only getting better and better and I love it.
