Description:
The original Tetris for Game Boy had no permanent save feature. As soon as you turned your Game Boy off, all the highscores were gone. With this patch the highscore tables for Tetris will be saved forever. It works on real hardware, too.
The patch needs to be applied to Tetris (World) (Rev A). (Often called V1.1)
You will also need to use the special “Tetris highscore save.sav” file found in the downloaded zip-file.
The hack was done completely by BennVenn. It was uploaded here with his permission.

This amplified my love of GB tetris
Reviewed By: [email protected] on 30 Sep 2023I have retired my copy of GB tetris in place of a rom and this patch on a EZ flash JR. I love that I can keep my high scores forever. I have also started sharing a copy of my save with friends when we best a top score.
My next goal is to find a way to flash this on a cheap repo with F-Ram and put it in an original shell. That would make it one of the few cartridges that go in my Gameboy.
