For some unknown reason, the site claimed my account doesn’t exist, so I recreated it using my E-mail and wanted to check if a small edit works just as fine.

Due to the fact that CajeASM hasn't been updated by me for many years, still has some odd bugs regarding instruction counter and due to the fact that (nowadays) better alternatives exist now, I've decided to delete this tool from this website. An alternative assembler I can recommend is bass, currently maintained by ARM9. To be found here: https://github.com/ARM9/bass

Upon further play, I discovered this hack broke an integral system to the game (the dash function).

Mega Man: The Return of Wily

Hack of Mega Man

Description:

Some of you may have heard about me working on this hack for a while. And I’m proud to announce that it’s finally finished!

So anyway, here’s the story: Wily has returned to try to achieve World Domination again! He used the same 6 robot masters that he used in his first attempt to destroy Megaman. Only this time, they have no weaknesses! (Or do they?)

This hack features completely redesigned levels, graphics and palette changes, enemy AI changes, and even some custom music! Be careful though, this hack is a lot harder than the original Mega Man, so save states are strongly recommended.

So good luck and have fun! ;)

What to expect from this hack:

  • annoying legend of zelda style repeating-room mazes
  • an invisible block maze
  • several rooms where you absolutely cannot avoid damage
  • savestate whoring if you intend to get past even the first few screens
  • frustrating pixel-perfect jumping portions
  • a painful magnet beam room where perfect timing is required
  • disappointingly easy boss fights

If you like savestates, you’ll love this hack! Overall, I have to recommend it if you want a hack that will take you a few hours to beat, not factoring in the time spent eventually taking a break from the annoying pixel-perfect jumping sections.
