Description:
Super Mario RPG: Armageddon is a difficulty and content mod for Super Mario RPG. It rebalances the entire game and adds a lot more post-game content, such as more FF bosses, two boss rushes, and even some special guests!
Here you’ll find:
- The damage formula has been completely rewritten to allow for much bigger numbers
- Brand new spells like Holy Star, Galaxy Blast, and Geno Flurry
- New status effects like Curse and even a new element: Holy
- New weapons, armor, and accessories for each character
- Dozens of new bosses from a variety of franchises, including Final Fantasy, Pokémon, and more
- Reworked and reimagined bosses throughout the main story, along with several surprises
- Dozens of new attacks and spells used by monsters
- Tons of new and custom sprites, including the new bosses and other characters like Luigi and Rosalina
- Over a dozen music tracks remixed into SMRPG from various franchises
- The fact that you can get to level 50 is such a minor detail here, it’s barely worth mentioning
- And so much more!
Version 10 has a Normal mode and a Hard mode.
- If you want to beat the game, play the normal version!
- If you’ve beaten the normal version and want to question your sanity, suffer at the hands of the hard version!
It is not recommended to try to switch between versions in the middle.
Note: Be warned that Hard mode is insanely hard, and it is highly recommended to play Normal first.

I like it a lot but I have doubts...

After the mine and fighting Croco it becomes a tough challenge if you are not used to this hack, even if you have already played the previous versions. If you are a casual player, it will still be a good challenge for those who know how to enjoy it. I will not delete my previous review so that you can see the difference after several days of playing the game - the truth is that it is still as good as it has always been for more than 12 years.
I come from many years of playing this hack and it was always difficult, with the separation of difficulties, I don’t know if the normal difficulty is just to see the game or it is unbalanced, It’s getting even much easier for me than the normal version, to the point of defeating strong bosses in 5 turns, I go into the mine with Croco and I destroyed him in 4 or 5 turns, it did absolutely nothing to me and it was quite disappointing, bowyer It was also extremely easy, that’s why I don’t know if the normal difficulty is only for exploring or the difficult one for fighting, I still have a doubt, I’m going to the mine but I think I’ll start The difficult version because I have played the hack many times but it has never been so easy for me
It should be noted that I didn’t play version 9, so I don’t know if there was any change from the previous ones.
Even so, it continues and will be my favorite hack ever, it makes me very nostalgic to play The DarkKefka and Doom hack.
