Description:
The soaring mod was originally made for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire by camthesaxman, in which it is shown off in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_ICgb6aJ64
There are a few problems with it though, mainly that the Eon Flute can only be obtained using a GameShark code which replaces a key item in the player’s bag, and many of the route fly locations were out of bounds. This patch intends to improve upon the original soaring mod, making the Eon Flute available early in the game as well as fixing the problems with the routes. Routes have accommodations to prevent the player from getting stuck out of bounds. The source code is available on camthesaxman’s GitHub here: https://github.com/camthesaxman/pokeruby/tree/soar_2
