Description:
You are very unlikely to need this patch, unless you’re wanting to run the USA Trog! game on your physical Famicom, via something like an Everdrive or flash cartridge.
This patch changes one byte of the ROM, making it possible for player two to join the game (and continue when lives are exhausted) by using the A button, instead of the Start button (which a Famicom lacks for the player two controller).
