Description:
This hack of Mega Man X2 relocalizes the original Japanese text, restoring lost elements and meanings, removing nonsense like calling X Mega Man and fixing typos. In addition, this hack fixes certain sprites of X that have to do with the Capsule upgrades you find throughout the game.
An optional patch has been included that changes the title screen to the style used in the Japanese version of X2.
Note that this hack isn’t a retranslation, but a relocalization. Some of the US text’s elements are still included, and the translation isn’t always literal.
