Overview:

• This hack allows the player to play as the SOR3 version of Axel, Blaze, Skate, and Shiva in SOR2. Unlike the previous works of the author, this hack does not feature extremely powerful playable characters. The power of the playable characters is approximately the same as the original SOR2.

• The story is a fan-fictional sequel of Streets of Rage 3. The brain in SOR3 was merely a clone of Mr. X. The real Mr. X finally returned to the city. All the Syndicate thugs were summoned, except Shiva, who had become a state witness after the event of SOR3.

• With Dr. Zan’s effort, Shiva joined Axel’s team. The two rivals finally work together to save the city.

Features:

• Shiva replaces Max and becomes a playable character.
• All playable characters have SOR3 style appearances with some modifications.
• All playable characters can run (with weapon animations).
• All playable characters have special moves from SOR3.
• Axel and Blaze have new moves.
• Shiva can use weapons.
• Combos become easier.
• Thugs’ names are changed.
• Shiva has his portrait.
• Mania difficulty is directly accessable.
• Stage selection is available.

Update:

• v1.2 features better portrait of Shiva.
• Axel’s Dragon Smash is invulnerable when he punches (just like SOR3).
• Blaze becomes slightly more powerful.
• All characters become slightly faster.

Known glitch:

• Shiva’s fire ball may cause graphical glitch in two players mode.
