This is part one of a series of strategy RPGs that is really, really big, spanning just about every single console and computer system imaginable. And, of course, you have never seen or heard of it. It’s just not fair, you know? Well Farland Story here can with much certainly be called the Easiest Strategy RPG Ever. The enemy AI doesn’t seem like it’s all there, you’re always more powerful than your enemies (and you usually outnumber them) and Alicia, your healer, can heal any party member once per turn, without any loss of MP or other somesuch.
Yet, I still managed to get slaughtered in the third mission. Those Casters are freaking bastards.
Anyways, it’s a really fun game to play, whether you like these sort of games or not.. It’s not some kind of hardcore Tactics Ogre kind of game, it’s just nice and fun. And isn’t that what it’s all about, kids?
