Terri Hawkes from the english Sailor Moon dub.  Imported her 'Crisis Power!' voice into the game!  :)

In doing so, labeled how the game deciphers which data to use for the voice, where it's loaded from, what speed the voice is and how long the voice is.  Essentially, this game is now hackable on voices with ease.

Finally fixed an issue in the VWF code so that only whole characters are printed. Now I just have to dig up my old notes and start cleaning my tools up. I need to find my translator too... >_>

Neat! Will the voice importer be released as a tool at some point? It's understandable that you don't want to edit all 430 voices, but maybe a romhacking group might pick it up as a project...

It's just a combination of using SNESBRR and using a couple scripts that Zarradeth has written in 010 Editor for versions 3.1+ that modifies the BRR header lengths by 2 bytes so the game can properly play them.

I do plan to release it sometime as he has mentioned that he wouldn't mind at all.  Plus, it'd give a little insight on people who want to do a voice translation patch.

DeJap planned to release a dubbed patch but I recall whatever progress they made was lost when Tomato's hard drive infamously crashed.

Final Kefka.

This is a gameplay video I made to demonstrate the new final boss I included in my hack, Stand Guard.

I saw so many people toiling about endlessly trying to change the game to make it harder, by modifying ALL the stats of EVERY monster.

I thought "that's too much goddamn work, and it's pissing all over the work the original programmer did" (I was very impetuous).

So I just made Kefka a merciless bastard, like he's supposed to be.

Altered SRW2's music behavior so that battle themes persist after battle sequences end, the way pretty much every SRW after Alpha does it. It makes for a much more exciting game. Have a peek:

That's really cool. Makes me wonder why they programmed in long versions of the theme songs if they kept cutting them off like that. Though now your hack makes it pointless to have any music but the themes. But that's better, I feel.

And how could you not have shown off the best theme: Mazinger Z? :P

Well, in SRW2 it waits for a button press before it proceeds with battle text, so you could theoretically just sit there listening to the tune forever. It makes less sense in SRW3 and on where the battles happen completely automatically. And if you want to listen to the map song you can always just sit there when your turn starts :)
