Aeon Genesis has completed a translation of the original Super Robot Wars game! Thanks must go to Tyria for his dialogue translation (the other things you did are coming soon too, I promise!) as well as Ryusui and Ian Kelley for both translating the stuff that kept turning up quickly and efficiently. (The title screen is also Ryusui's.)

Please don't expect much from this. Being the very first Super Robot War it's not all that great of a game, but it really is an interesting footnote in the history of a truly fantastic series of games.

The translations good, though after playing so many more advanced SRW games, it sort of becomes boring. But you guys did a good job translating it.

Heh heh... Just played the Gundam team's storyline... Well, just Episode 1. :P It's not a bad little game... The animation's near none-existent, though...

As for the translation... What is up with the Special command? "Enlist" and whatnot. O_o I guess I'd have to play it a little more. And...

Special commands are unit specific. Only the hero unit can use spirit commands, and Enlist tries to convince the enemy to join you. (It was originally Persuade but that didn't fit in the menu.) Getter Robo and Getter G have Form menus under Special as well.

You could've tried "Talk".

...Not to nitpick, but why...

1. ...is the "n" narrower than all the other letters?

2. ...are the numbers "1991" on the title screen out of line with everything else?

I didn't feel that Talk properly conveyed the action.

As far as the font stuff, I didn't really notice any of that. It's strag0's font; it looked fine to me :p

You could've used "recruit". I think that's better than "enlist". :P Whatever, though. If you like what you have done best, then go with that. :P
