Mister Xiado ported Crystalis Computer Repair for Japan. It fixes the naming screen backdrop and adds a few touchups.

Since it's submission got rejected, M.Xiado sent me above link. It's fully compatible with translation also.

I was wondering why it was rejected, if a similar pack for the US version was accepted?

Sounds like it was a technicality or something was filled out wrong, from what I can see.  Wonder what would happen if someone else submitted?

How is Constellation Nerdulus going? Out before Christmas?

I'm afraid it won't be that soon. I've been focusing on Zill O'll for the most part, and trying to sort out Majin Tensei II's beta testing, so I'd let it sit a while.

However, I will work on it every so often, whenever I need a break from Zill O'll, since that's more of a long-haul (huge) project. The other day, Pennywise updated the Constallation Nerdulus rom with a few very nice fixes. I'll continue working on it, but I can't promise a breakneck pace. I'm playing the Japanese and English version in tandem (without any cheats) to make sure that everything works well!

I'm having a problem with the patch. I've tried several copies of the Japanese version from different places and tried both Beat and Flips. Both of them say that every single version I've tried is incompatible with the patch. I'm scratching my head at this point because I simply can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Granted I've never used bps patch before, but from what I understand it shouldn't be any different than applying an ips patch.

I'm pretty sure I got the ROM from a no-intro set, but I think you can still patch and ignore the message. It's probably just a different header.

I'm bumping this because there's going to be an update to the patch soon.

Thanks to this person, we've figured out how to access the secret developer messages. They're all translated in the patch, but they needed to be fixed.

I think this is a pretty significant discovery and adds further credence that this translation is the definitive version of the game.

It looks like it's from the FinalBurn Neo set. The only difference is the NES 2.0 header instead of the iNES header.
