Ice Hockey Rom-Hacking

I've been playing this game called Ice Hockey on the NES for the last few years and I've been wondering if there's a way to get more out of it. I've seen sprite changes but nothing else from there. Is there actually a way to make a hack like add more teams or two players on the same team?

Have you looked around to see what hacks are already available? It is a very well-known game.

If there are no existing hacks already, then there is no easy way to do what you ask.

fair enough, the only ones I've seen have been reskins. I just didn't know if there was someone who knew but, I guess for another day
