Legend Of Legaia - Make it so Normal Arts increase your spirit bar and Super Arts, Hyper Arts, and Miracle Arts decrease your spirit bar just like in Legaia 2. Also make it much easier to learn magic as well as level up magic.

Updated translation hacks to replace all the old translation hacks that never quite finished, or have to make severe concessions to implement (for example, the RPG Maker games for SNES and GB, or the second Magic Knight Rayearth GB game).

Yeah the Game Boy RPG Maker is tricky because of the limited buttons and small screen so a translation of the menus would be great and maybe a translated manual would help immensely too!

Final Fantasy V Advance: Combine all these hacks into one patch?

Seems like these are all great ideas and we shouldn't have to choose! :D

Some of those hacks might be designed to work with each other (plenty did for the old audio restorations).

It is by no means flawless but will give a basic idea of what tries to write the same location.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga - Is it possible to make it so that Analyze works on bosses? I've studied the code, but I can't figure out how boss data is hidden. The game uses the same engine as SMT3, so if anyone's done something similar for that game the logic should be transferable.

Simple hack idea for Steel Empire (both Genesis and GBA):
Remove the flickering on the opening, debriefing, and cutscenes.

Remove the flickering on the opening, debriefing, and cutscenes.
Try the following for the GBA version with a hex editor:
  • For the opening, go to offset 0x34569 and change the byte 0xd1 to 0xe0.
  • EDIT: For the game title before the main menu, go to offset 0x34521 and change the byte 0xd1 to 0xe0.
  • For (hopefully) everything else, go to offset 0x35e3f and again change 0xd1 to 0xe0.

Ok Impala!

Seeing those recent releases of a Zelda and Landstalker editor has me longing for more editors for my favorite games. Would be awesome to be able to make extensive hacks for Terranigma and Lufia II! I would seriously pay someone to make editors for those games.  :)

can you please make a version of Super Mario Land DX that is based on the Rev A (md5sum b259feb41811c7e4e1dc200167985c84)

i dont like to pirate any roms
and the original version of Super Mario Land is darn hard to find anywhere, all i find is rev A
i have around 10 cartridges of this game now, all rev A
its a nightmare on ebay to look for a game that does not have the little A stamping on the label
i was trying to explain to one person what that stamping is and where they can find it
and they could not find it, i bought it anyway, turned out its original Rev A with no stamp

i just got 5 copies from japan, the seller did not want to look for a specific version,
i was trying my best to look for any stamping, but its so hard to see... got 5 times rev A  :banghead:

is it hard to accomplish such a port?
i might even try it myself but i have no experience and no clue how to do it

Somebody should deep hack Ducktales-2 and create a Ducktales-3.

^This fake concept box-art is amazing.
-I am guessing the Box art is showing a big dragon or something.

Why is nobody doing this?
Somebody, a really extreme hacker with an extreme knowledge of the 'original ducktales series' needs to do this.

there's more than that, if you wait the intro to play out you'll notice the game title before the main menu also appears flickering.

I edited the original post. Thanks for letting me know.
For the opening and cut scenes they disable the background every few frames to make it flicker, but interestingly for the game title they push the background down, so it won't be visible.

Should be easy to put some rings in the boss fights on the Game Gear versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 so the boss fights would be more manageable.

A hack of Snow Bros. for the Sega Mega Drive featuring LilyPichu and Pokimane.
This has come to me after seeing the Snow Sisters hack and I thought that, what if the most famous personalities of OfflineTV appear in a Snow Bros. hack.
I believe the morning sun, always gonna shine again.

I'm surprised no one did this, but Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier still doesn't have a hack to stop the enemies from being able to defend and null every single hit left in your combo. If we can't, there's no reason they should one-up us!

just play the sequel or PxZ at this point, pretty sure they took out forced evasion as seen in OG Saga Endless Frontier lmao

except I'm playing on the DS. And the sequel KEEPS Forced Evasion, only differences are that you have a tell they are about when they will engage it and you can also use it yourself.
