1. Sonic Adventure Deluxe:
A hack of Sonic Adventure (DC) that adds 60fps, playable Super Sonic in stages, improved models closer in proportions to SA2 while keeping the SA1DC textures, faster Amy, improved Big, and a "right analog" camera by adding a camera to the d-pad and mapping it to either a modded DC controller or to a modern controller while playing on an emulator.

2. Dead or Alive Ultimate Saturn:
A hack of DoA Saturn that adds all the extra characters and costumes from the PS1 version, removes ring outs but keeps the danger zone, and adds a sidestep mechanic

3. Sonic Adventure 2 Ultimate:
A hack of Sonic Adventure 2 (DC) that adds playable Super Sonic & Super Shadow, brings back SA1 emerald radar, a "right analog" camera, SA2 Battle multiplayer, and optional instrumental background music in Knuckles/Rouge stages.

4. Fighting Layer PS1 Port:
A hack of Street Fighter EX Alpha Plus that turns it into a 2D Port of Fighting Layer.

How would a "right analog camera" even work on Dreamcast?  It only had one stick and the D-pad is on the same side!  That's why you had to rotate the camera via shoulder buttons!

There are two SNES RPG games that really need translation they are called,
Light Fantasy and Light Fantasy 2
I don't think they are related to Final Fantasy but may be similar to YS or something I don't really know "can't read Japanese" why nobody has noticed them or tried translating them being that they both share the name Fantasy is beyond me.

I have always thought they must be better games than Final Fantasy, or that Romhackers are afraid that Light Fantasy might really be just that a too awesome Rival of Final Fantasy.

They saw what 600 Member's can do, lets show them what the 34,000 can do.

Can somebody Colorize and DX the games like - (Final Fantasy Legends I - II and III)? - Also (Final Fantasy Adventure?) - that Sword of Mana game?

Lastly, DX Megaman 2, 3 and 4 Gameboy (Rockmanworld) need true DX releases also.

Because I know people like final fantasy and Mega man and stuff.

Final Fantasy Adventure has a color hack but it's unfinished.

I'd like to see a colorization of Jurassic Park 2 for game boy; the same colors as the NES game Jurassic Park

FireRed rom hack so you can walk through walls and get pushed back whenever you go to an out-of-bounds place.

I'm waiting for a translation for LadyStalker

I wish people realized that theres no way to remove flashing lights entirely from super mario rpg... some animations physically cannot work without it. It'd be nice if someone made custom code that makes it work without the flashing, but until then, as far as i know, romhackers have to leave some flashing in for some object queues and subroutines in animations in order for them to work, due to how lazy shell editor arranges the animations.

Super Mario RPG desperately needs a new editor, is what i'm saying.

Quote from: Tsukiyomaru0 on May 06, 2023, 12:35:01 PMIdeas for A Link To The Past (both SNES and GBA):
• Replace Sword Beam with a magic wave similar to that of Wizzrobes and make it faster and a little more spammable
• Replace the odd fire bubbles shot by the Fire Rod look more like a proper fireball.
• Make bombs and arrow use magic instead, like ALBW
 • Likewise, add magic regeneration as efficient as ALBW's.

I definitely second the first two!

Also, I always felt ALTTP was a bit stingy with hearts for refilling your health and would really like a adjustment in that department.

Super Empire strikes Back - Snes

This game kept calling me back, but I had forgotten how frustrating this game was!

*Fastrom would be a great, the slowdowns are massive and almost ruins the gameplay in some places.

*Reduction of the damage done by some enemies, those darn ice-spikes growing out of the ground in the early Hoth-levels
takes away almost half the health-bar for instance!

*Maybe reduce the health of the bosses, to make boss-fights less tedious.

*Hit detection can be poor sometimes.. easy to fall through the edge of platforms.

One can dream!

Any possible hacks for game boy colour metal gear ghost babel to have a stealth Camo item and infinite bandana for ammo like the other metal gear games? Like the actual item and to not glitch the game, colour pallets etc

All Super Star Wars games are FastROM already.

Afternoon romhack community!

Apologies if this is something people ask relentlessly, but I seem to be coming across conflicting posts about whether you can request people to create translating projects etc, but here goes.

How easy/hard is it for someone to amend an N64 Rom to change the language of a game to English?
Is there an area to request it here?
Is it even possible?

I can't stress how little I know about this stuff after a lot of research

Jikkyou J.League 1999 : Perfect Striker 2 is the game I would love to be translated - ISS2000 is essentially this game but with international teams, but I would LOVE to play the Japanese club version.

Who can point me in the right direction here of either understanding this project is impossible, finding someone who would do it.

I will appreciate the help! Of course, if there is something I could do as well such as getting team names translated into English for someone to program then I would want to be involved!

Cheers!

Sorry for the late reply. So, the idea would be that if you were playing on an emulator you could map the d-pad to the right analog stick on your Xbox or other controller.

Thought about something: what about a hack to bring most of the 3D Classics changes to the NES version of the games (like, for example, the sound changes, haggle mechanic, and save system from the 3D Classics version), while other aesthetic changes are handled via Mesen (enhanced backgrounds, for one)?

Another possible idea for Kid Icarus: make the screen scroll both ways, allowing the player to go back. You might think "but what about the feather?", I thought it could instead be used for multiple jumps.

I also hope someone considers doing a "Kid Icarus: Of Myths And Monsters DX" treatment, colorizing and polishing the gameplay. Maybe even implement a "Light Mode" where the Weapons are always active regardless of health.

Wondering if someone can make a Monopoly Game Boy Restoration hack that restores all the contents that got cut from the American version of this game (Such cutscenes, music, etc...)

I am a big fan of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series and i am desperate bc i cannot play the two Game Boy versions (1 from GB and 2 from GBC) in English.

Is there a soul that would make this dream a reality?

Other requests: Fushigi no Dungeon (GB), Fushigi no Dungeon 2 (GBC), Sakura Taisen GB 2 (GBC).

A hack of Kirby Super Star that restores as many Japanese graphics and changes as possible, and better localized dialogue.

Oh, and Kirby's Dream Course with the JP intro restored.

Quote from: Memorex on May 18, 2023, 06:23:17 AMOuch, thanks for the info.

You should check out the MSU-1 hacks for all 3 games.  They use the OST from the original trilogy if you play them in BSNES or SNESX9.  You can even play them on actual hardware if you have a SD2SNES flash cart.
