How do I hack DBZ Buu's Fury (GBA)

How do I hack DBZ Buu's Fury (GBA) and insert maps, events, etc? Also, how do I replace already existing images?

Time again for a Dragon Ball ? fan to hope against hope that the tie in games are worth contemplating is it... though it has been a minute since the last one. I don't get it myself; good tie in games occasionally happen but I can't see the GBA efforts being that.

Anyway you are not the first to look at these games and think hmm, several having gone before you and usually running into a wall with some custom compression to handle (though that might be the other titles) and some reasonably complex internal coding structures. Images might be one thing (though pretty sure these were compressed) but you are going to be jumping in the deeper end with map editing and events. If Dragon Ball is enough to get you to want to push through those barriers then fantastic (few better ways to learn something than to want to do something with the end results).

Thank you for your response. It is a pleasure to have a legend like you respond to my query. I am currently one of the youngest romhackers out there (You might as well as want to check out my age in my profile). I just got into romhacking. To be honest, I have tried to do several things just to revive the Legacy of goku series (which ended even before I was born). I tried to create a game with various engines and failed due to their limitations. It was time that I realized that my only path to victory would be to completely reverse engineer the game. I very well understand that doing that would be a test for my own limits. But I am ready to do this. Therefore, I resorted to romhacking and here I am now. This is the beginning and I have set a deadline for myself. I know that this is going to be nearly impossible, but I am going to try to learn the entirety of skill and knowledge that I require to romhack this game, including your guide right there, in just 3 months or sometime earlier than that. I will update you with it once I speedrun through your guide. Wish me good luck.

Your enthusiasm is charming, but if it was even extremely difficult for someone starting with no knowledge to completely reverse-engineer a game in three months, all the games would have been reverse-engineered by now.

I didn't say that I was going to reverse engineer it in 3 months. I said that I would learn rom-hacking in 3 months. Sorry, if I was being unclear to you.
