Hey

I'm trying to make it so that the damage system in SMA4 mimics that of the original Famicom release, but I'm not really sure where to start. I know that you can use Hexedit for the NES and SNES versions, but I can't find an equivalent for GBA. Does anybody know where I would need to look?

Not sure what you mean by "hexedit". Of course you can use a hex editor on a GBA ROM just like you can for the NES and SNES; that's like saying you can use a pencil and paper to draw a picture and to do your math homework.

If you're asking what you need to change using the hex editor, then that is a vastly more difficult question.

Yes I mean using a hex editor. I was wondering if there was a simple way to change the damage system using it. If not, how else could I try changing it?

There is e-reader card that already does that, tcrf has cheat code to activate it and I think theres tool to make cheats permanent on the rom? Not sure if it supported gba, so thats good start.
