Mortal Kombat Champion Edition has just been updated to version 2.0!

For those not familiar with this hack, it is a boss hack of the SNES port of Mortal Kombat 1. In it Reptile, Goro and Shang Tsung are made playable among other things.

V2.0 adds the following:

* Added compatability with the Zeldix MSU1 patch by Kurrono,  Relikk and Conn. Find it here: https://www.zeldix.net/t1663-mortal-kombat
* Added vs screen portaits for Goro, Shang Tsung and Reptile.
* Added new alternate palettes for Goro, Shang Tsung and Reptile.
* Modified logic that controls the loading of the alternate palette around Shang Tsung's morphs.
* Added "Random Morph" and "Random Morph + Attack" moved to Shang Tsung's arsenal.
* Shang Tsung can now move both forward and backwards. Goro remains unable to move backwards as this is a feature rather than a bug!
* Removed the need for player controlled Reptile to manually change stances. In effect, he now has access to both Scorpion and Sub-Zero's movesets at all times now.
* Greatly reduced the graphical glitches that occur when two Goros appear on the screen at the same time.
* Fixed bug where if Shang Tsung performed a fatality as Scorpion, Sub-Zero or Kano, the announcer would say "Scorpion/Sub-Zero/Kano Wins".
* Fixed bug where announcer would say "Finish Her" if Shang Tsung was defeated while morphed into Sonya.
* Fixed bug where, in a Shang Tsung mirror match, Shang Tsung's name in Player 1's health bar was cut off.
* Fixed bug that would cause player controlled Reptile to load in with Scorpion's pallete on Round 1 when facing CPU Reptile.
* Play on to find more added features. ;)

Best SNES MK1 Hack Ever!!!  ;D

P.S.
Could you integrate the "Red Blood Hack"?
Anyway thanks :)

Great work! also, is it possible to add blood too? :woot!:

This hack is compatible with the Red Blood hack if you patch the Blood hack first and then Champion Edition.
My only suggestion right now to make MK1 on SNES the ultimate console version would be to restore the Fatalities and Stages to be like on the Arcade version :D

This is really great, so far the best version that makes possible to combine all the available patches.

Whenever big graphics hacks or possible restorations are made to it, it will rock even more!

What does the patch "Zeldix MSU1 patch by Kurrono, Relikk and Conn." Do? I tried to look it up, but didn't understand what the patch does.

Taken from the DOCX file in the zip:
"This patch includes the possibility to hear cd-quality audio."

This would be awesome! also, if there's a chance to imporove the blood quantity like in MK2? that would be fantastic!  :woot!:
